I hope this newsletter finds you and your family healthy and happy. These are some difficult times and we need to celebrate every special moment. In the spirit of happiness, I would like to share a special preview of Christmas Runaway – coming soon!

Christmas Runaway, a novel by Deborah Kulish

Jan Nichols couldn’t help staring at his hard body. His ripped chest, muscular arms, and six-pack abs made her mouth water. She licked her lips and ran her hand across his shiny torso. His blue jeans were unzipped and partly pulled away exposing an area she wanted to get her hands into. She took a deep breath. β€œI haven’t read one of these books since college. Maybe I should buy one?”

β€œJan, are you coming? We don’t have all night to get the grocery shopping done. The store closes in a couple of hours,” Rob, her husband, called to her.

β€œOn my way.” She set the book back on the shelf, stopped, then picked it up again and threw it into the front of the shopping basket. Swiftly she shoved the cart to catch up to her husband.

A successful career woman, Jan Nichols accomplished every goal she had ever set for herself. Being tall and slender with light, golden brown hair and blue eyes, she had no shortage of choices for a husband. But, it was love at first sight for her when she met Rob. And, with everything else checked off her list at twenty-nine, marrying him seemed like natural course of events for her life. That had been just six months earlier.

As she strolled about the store, she marveled at the glistening red, green, gold, and silver decorations. The smells from the bakery mingling with the hot deli food service gave off a delicious aroma making her think of holiday meals. Memories from her childhood flooded her mind and her eyes brimmed with tears. This year was going to be her best Christmas ever. Her first Christmas together with her husband at her grandparents’ farm where she celebrated every Christmas so far. Merry Christmas, she smiled at the thought.
